IN PROGRESS...

The Trip: Sweet Home Chicago
If you didn't hear the sarcasm in the title, perhaps you should turn up your speakers.
A trip overview... >sigh< and back to work I go.
Wednesday: Subway/L fun! Nothing says fun like carrying all kinds of electronic equipment with you on the subway (yes... Chicago has a subway... it's basically the L, but underground). My flight was fun... as I got to sit next to a cocksucking bastard the whole time (he didn't even make eye contact, didn't want to say hello). "Yay!" Airport fun! When Ken picked me up, I made sure to make it as embarrassing as possible for him. I succeeded. Best Buy fun! I got Super Smash Brothers for Gamecube... and the first season of Chapelle's Show on DVD. Wow... it's almost like I have money to spend! The rest of the night was spent shooting at various things. Mmhmm.
Thursday: April Fool's day is my Mommy's birthday, so it has historically been a big joke on her. I guess this year's joke was that I was on the other side of the country. April Fools, Mom. Thursday was the most disjointed day of my vacation. We had been up late the night before, but Ken had to work that night, so there was just a few hours between waking up and him going to work for us to do anything. To be honest, we really didn't do much of anything Thursday... I just remember that I didn't take off my pjs all day. This used to be the height of my vacationing as a young lad: If I could spend the whole day without taking off my pjs then I was, without a doubt, on vacation. It's a rule. So I'm glad we didn't go anywhere so that I could feel on vacation. Solid.
Friday: Friday started with "Hi Honey, I'm home". What a bastard that Ken is... but it was alright. He and I spent many an hour playing Super Smash Bros and Rogue Squadron III before he finally turned in to go to bed about 11 AM. Then he slept most of the afternoon (I took a nap too). We then went to the Hard Rock Cafe and then saw Hellboy at the Palms. Yeah... even the movie theatres are in Casinos in Vegas. But I enjoyed the movie... it was good for a comic book movie... and there were some really funny parts and some (dare I say it) cute writing.
Saturday: We decided to go to the Virgin Megastore inside the Caesar's Palace. I bought the first full season of SpongeBob on DVD. Oh... John Sellers! I miss my John Sellers... I would kill a man to get my John Sellers back. We then went to the Luxor... where we overheard a man saying "We're in the Luxor. How did we get to the Luxor?" That man was drunk. Anypoopers... we then went and saw the Imax movie "Adrenaline Rush: The Science of Risk" and I was able to call dibbs on this cute chick from some other state (anyone in Vegas is from somewhere else, no one lives there... seriously). It was my first IMAX movie and I was totally impressed by the gratuitous size of the screen and by the excessive speakers. What a wonderful thing the IMAX theatre is!
Sunday: This weekend was an Old Navy sale! Sale? At Old Navy? Half-gay men to the rescue! Coldstone... Applebees...
Monday: Two words... Hoover Dam... LOTR:ROTK Gamecube game...
Tuesday: Red Lobster... Second City... DOAX...
Wednesday: Walmart... Football... Flight...
